26 Termic print tickets and book, 2015



The piece presents the result of an action that took place in January 2015 in Madrid, Spain. The action consisted in going to the unemployment office, taking a turn ticket and waiting. When the number was called, another ticket was taken. The goal was to complete the equivalent of a working day (eight hours) waiting. Over the course of these 8 hours, all the numbers that appeared on the screen were written down, along with the exact time at which each of them was called.
A book was edited showing each screen change. Each page shows the number called and the exact time when it appeared on the screen. Along with the book all the turn tickets are shown.
